Hi, welcome to babyboomers' cycles!
My name is Dave Ficke; I am the owner of Babyboomers' Cycles in Seward Nebraska. Our address is 459 S.6th St. #5. My shop is in the rear of the building; actually the best way to find me is to go one block north on 6th St., make a left on South St., make another
left on 7th St., and go all the way down to the end (about two blocks). You will run right into me. My phone number is 402--643-9094.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I have Cerebral Ataxia which affects my speech, balance, and fine motor control. I graduated, at the top of my class, from Motorcycle Mechanics' Institute in Phoenix Arizona. While at MMI I specialized in Harley-Davidson, both early and late model. While at MMI my classmates often sought my assistance for technical advice. Two of my classmates used to say that "Dave rides better than he walks". I have past experience in heavy-equipment mechanics, automotive mechanics, and electronics. My most recent employer was Dobeck Performance in Belgrade Montana. While at Dobeck Performance I worked for Mark Dobeck, the original founder of Dynojet; my work consisted of testing, diagnosing, and performing failure analysis on high performance fuel injection control units.
Now, a little bit about my shop. Babyboomers' is a small one man shop, four hundred eighty square feet. I work primarily on all makes of motorcycles, but I also work on ATVs, I also have welding skills and equipment (TIG, Oxy-Acetylene, & Stick). I can repair and maintain almost anything mechanical, electrical, or electronic. If I cannot fix it I can find out how to fix it or find someone who can.
